Singleplayer Game Lag? - mount blade fire and sword cd key

Iv never had a problem with one game too late by one hour. My model is relatively new and Iv played for a while. I recently downloaded Mount & Blade and when I ran, I could play for about 2 minutes, but were lower by about 4 minutes, then repeat somewhere. I tried this with Half Life 2 and other games with their peers. Delayed for 4 minutes and is good for min 2nd What should I do?
